Ba(ME) is a short narrative dance film of approxinately 9 minutes, focusing on Julie Ann Minaii’s experience of immigrating to the UK and journey as a minority East Asian professional dance artist in a new country. These storylines are told in tandem, with evocative imagery of internal and external struggle, and the exceptionalism and burden of immigrant and minority status.
